Kate & Mark’s Autumnal Yorkshire wedding was held at the historic wedding venue, Holdsworth House Halifax in West Yorkshire.
Holdsworth House in Halifax is really is an elegant wedding venue steeped in history and charm. Dating back to 1633 and nestled amongst beautiful scenery it proved to be a really dramatic back drop for portraits. We didn’t let the rain phase us on the day and we got out the trusty white wedding umbrella and carried on as normal.
Kate had a real attention to detail and had tastefully designed all the little details on the day right down to the name places and table decor. The flowers and floral designs inside the wedding ceremony room were stunning! Never seen an array of bouquets quite like it.
Both Kate and Mark were such a lovely down to earth, grounded, chilled couple on the day (just how I love my clients!) so covering their wedding really was a breeze and a joy. They were even up to going out afterwards in the dark to get some atmospheric night time portraits in the drizzling rain and we all had loads of fun getting shots in the manicured maze garden which had an air of magic to it even in the rain and cold!
