Laura and Andrew’s wedding at Holdsworth House Wedding Photographers Yorkshire
As promised I’m posting Laura and Andrew’s wedding held at one of Yorkshire’s finest wedding venues (in my opinion) Holdsworth House in Halifax. Holdsworth House is a stunning 17th-century manor that offers a unique blend of historical elegance and modern comforts. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and picturesque landscapes, this charming venue provides an idyllic setting for weddings and special events. With its beautifully appointed interiors, including a grand staircase and ornate fireplaces, Holdsworth House creates a romantic atmosphere perfect for capturing your special moments. The dedicated staff ensures personalised service, catering to your every need while you celebrate with family and friends. Whether you're planning a small, intimate gathering or a grand celebration, Holdsworth House promises a memorable experience steeped in character and warmth.
Laura was one of the most chilled out brides I’ve ever come across (and there’s been a few!) and I didn’t detect an ounce of nerves on the morning of the wedding (unless she hid it well!). Andrew was also pretty chilled and we had so many laughs while I was covering him and guys getting ready. No alcohol in sight to steady the nerves either.
Laura’s dad who was giving her away, arrived in full army regalia and really looked the part walking her down the aisle and Andrew was the first to choke up in tears so it was a very emotional ceremony.
It really was a pleasure capturing their day at Holdsworth House and I’m sure you can see from the images, it was a very fun filled day and amazing occasion.
