Renewal of vowels ceremony

I’ve been a little delayed adding this to my blog so excuse long the wait :)

A month or so ago, Brendan & Julie decided to renew their vowels after celebrating many happy years together in marital harmony, in the comfort of their back garden along with only their close friends and family instead of the big event they had planned prior to the lockdown.

The event was taken care of by Melanies Catering, who organised it all from scratch with the precision, attention to detail and quality of service I’ve become accustomed to when being booked by them. Always a big bonus is the fact I get fed by them with their mouth watering food at some point throughout the event!

One of their friends decided to surprise them both by getting a guest appearance sprung on them by the 3 amigos Mariachi Band. They came walking down their driveway totally unexpected and it was a nice touch on the day for sure.

It was good timing too as soon afterwards the heavens opened up and it poured down with rain and everyone had to run for cover!!! I totally enjoyed myself anyway for the first time since the break of lockdown as it was my first event I’ve covered in 6 months so was a flitter of normality back in my life for a day. Here’s hoping we can be out of this pandemic very soon and praying that the second wave doesn’t hit as hard as they’re predicting.

Here’s a selection of my favourite images from the day to get a taste of it all….
